manducator This is how proper black metal is done. Decent production. Relentless guitars with a bite. No frills, just in your face! Favorite track: I Never Asked to be Born.

The second full length album by one man UK Black Metal band Bathyum represents the true essence of pure darkness.

Recorded over 2017 and early 2018, this is an 8 track album for fans of the raw early 90s "second wave" of black metal. Songs from this album deal with subjects such as suicide, murder, celestial entities and old folklore stories from where I grew up in Wirral, England.

Take a journey into the abyss as I welcome you... to The Church Of Euthanasia!

released June 22, 2018 “Ceremony of the Pagan Queen” has had its hooks in my head for several weeks. It’s not the only song from The Church of Euthanasia that’s buried itself there, but maybe because it’s the first track I heard from the album, it’s burrowed a bit deeper. Resist the power of these fiery, ferocious riffs if you can; try to resist the warlike melodies and throat-cutting vocals; I think you’ll find resistance is futile, even when the music takes a turn into colder and much bleaker territories before one final charge. An Atmospheric masterclass is what hits your ears. It’s a modern-day masterpiece, played with styles of the good years. - 10/10

OccultBlackMetalZine: Bathyum creates another recording that remains true to the old school style of black metal that was on his previous release, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover suicide, murder, celestial entities, paganism and old folklore themes. In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Bathyum and if you are a fan of old school black metal, you should check out this album. - 8/10
